Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Depression
Break free from unhelpful thoughts and habits, and start building lasting change.

Overview
What is Depression?
Depression is more than just feeling sad or low for a few days. It’s a persistent change in mood that can affect your thoughts, emotions, energy levels, and daily life. It often brings feelings of hopelessness, emptiness, or disconnection, and can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming.

How CBT Treats Depression
CBT for depression helps you understand the link between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how they may be keeping you stuck in a low mood. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and habits and replace them with more balanced perspectives and actions. The goal is to help you feel more in control, re-engage with life, and improve your mood in a lasting way.

Why Therapy is an Investment
Therapy isn’t just about the time spent in the session, it’s an investment in your mental health, emotional resilience, and long-term wellbeing. Each session reflects years of specialist training and clinical experience, as well as the time spent outside of sessions designing a personalised treatment plan for your needs. Many people don’t hesitate when spending money on holidays, gym memberships, or dining out, all of which provide mostly only short-term wellbeing. Therapy offers something deeper: a safe, consistent space to understand yourself, work through what’s holding you back, and build lasting change. This investment in yourself is a valuable commitment to living the balanced, fulfilled life, that you wish you live for many years ahead.
