Tailored Sessions
Therapy for Executives and Professionals
High-performing professionals often carry more than most people realise. From the outside, it may look like you have it all together, but inside, it might feel like you’re always one step away from losing it all. You might dread being “found out,” or worry about making even one small mistake. I work with executives, directors, and senior professionals who are struggling beneath the surface with issues like burnout, imposter syndrome, fear of failure, and unrelenting self-pressure. Many of my clients are leaders within blue-chip companies, who are juggling multiple competing demands, whilst finding it hard to switch off or feel fulfilled. My client base includes high-performing individuals from top-tier firms such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, KPMG, Accenture, and PwC.
In our work together, I help clients
- Navigate the internal pressures that drive overworking and overthinking
- Rebuild confidence and self-worth from the inside out
- Improve communication, leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness
- Create healthier boundaries between work and home life
- Reconnect with purpose, motivation, and personal values
Whether you’re a CEO, founder, or rising leader, therapy offers a rare and confidential space to step out of performance mode and reflect on what’s really driving you, and what might be holding you back. Many of my clients report greater career satisfaction, renewed clarity, and a more sustainable, fulfilling way of working and living.

Please read more about the common difficulties that many high achieving professionals seek therapy for.
Burnout
This involves feeling a state of emotional, physical and mental exhaustion, often triggered by unrelenting and prolonged periods of stress. You might find it very hard to switch off, and have trouble feeling motivated to do even small tasks.
Perfectionism / High standards
Do you hold yourself to unreasonably high standards, and strive to avoid even the smallest of mistakes? You might spend excessive amounts of time trying to get everything just right, leading to overwhelming stress, and a loss of work-life balance.
People pleasing
Do you find yourself always trying to prove yourself to others, to your own detriment? Many people that engage in people pleasing find it almost impossible to say no to things, and then get caught in a vicious cycle of never saying no, ultimately sacrificing their own well-being.
Imposter syndrome
Do you constantly worry about being exposed as a fraud at work, despite there being no concerns around your performance? If so, you might avoid giving suggestions in meetings, not take on new challenges, in order to avoid any perceived or actual criticism.

Why Therapy is an Investment
Therapy isn’t just about the time spent in the session, it’s an investment in your mental health, emotional resilience, and long-term wellbeing. Each session reflects years of specialist training and clinical experience, as well as the time spent outside of sessions designing a personalised treatment plan for your needs. Many people don’t hesitate when spending money on holidays, gym memberships, or dining out, all of which provide mostly only short-term wellbeing. Therapy offers something deeper: a safe, consistent space to understand yourself, work through what’s holding you back, and build lasting change. This investment in yourself is a valuable commitment to living the balanced, fulfilled life, that you wish you live for many years ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Qualifications Do You Have?
I’m a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 18 years of experience in mental health, including the past 10 years specialising in CBT. I’m also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) for trauma-focused work.
Where Are You Based?
I’m based in Northwood and Kings Cross, and offer both face-to-face and remote therapy sessions. This flexibility allows me to work with clients locally, across the UK, and internationally.
What can I expect from my first session?
Your first session is a chance for us to explore what’s brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from it. You’ll be invited to share whatever feels important in a confidential, supportive space. We’ll talk through your current challenges, clarify your goals, and I’ll explain how therapy works and the approach I use. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to get a feel for the process and see if it feels like the right fit for you.
What If I’ve Had Therapy Before and It Didn’t Help?
That’s completely okay, many people come to therapy after previous experiences that didn’t feel quite right. Therapy is a very personal process, and sometimes it takes time to find the right approach or therapist. I’ll take time to understand your past experiences and tailor our work accordingly, so this feels like a fresh, collaborative process that meets you where you are now.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
The number of sessions depends on what you’d like support with and the kind of change you’re hoping to make. According to NICE guidelines (the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), many people benefit from 12 to 20 sessions of CBT for common difficulties like anxiety or depression. For some, shorter-term therapy is enough. For others particularly when experiences are more complex, or long-standing longer-term support may be more appropriate. In our first session, we’ll work together to understand your needs and create a personalised plan. I’ll give you a clear sense of how many sessions might be helpful, and we’ll review this regularly as therapy progresses.
Are Online Sessions as Effective as Face-to-Face?
Absolutely. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face sessions for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related difficulties. According to evidence reviewed by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and NICE, online CBT and EMDR can achieve comparable outcomes to in-person work when delivered by a trained therapist. Many clients even prefer online sessions, as they offer more flexibility, no travel time, and the comfort of being in your own familiar space. Whether we meet online or in person, the quality of the therapeutic relationship remains at the heart of the process.
Is Everything Confidential?
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is treated with strict confidentiality. The only exceptions are rare situations where there’s a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or if legally required. If any concerns arise, we’ll always discuss them together wherever possible. Creating a safe and trusting space is central to the work we do.
